Software Developer
We're growing our product development software and systems team and are looking for a Software Developer to work on complex engineering problems on our Research & Development team.
As a part of our team you will analyze requirements, design and develop computer software, and recommend system controls and procedures.
We work on delivering unique electronics and software solutions to our business units in bedding, home furniture, automotive, and other markets.
Essential responsibilities of a Software Developer:
- Gathering user requirements
- Defining system functionality
- Writing code in various languages
- Work on technologies that include Cloud, PC applications, and embedded firmware
A few things you ll need:
- Bachelor s degree or previous experience in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to respond with urgency and stay organized within a fast-paced team
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Proactive, analytical, and self-educating mindset with an eye for detail
- An excitement for new technologies
Things we consider a plus:
- Experience with Azure and AWS
- Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps
- Self-motivated to learn new technologies to provide better platforms and analytics
- A working knowledge of some of the technologies that we use including:
JavaScript, Visual Studio, SQL, C/C++, C#, Python, microcontrollers, and electronics
